NEO PSYCHEDELIA:  

Black Moth Super Rainbow- Twin of Myself

• American experimental electronic band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
• Their genres of music contain Indie rock, Lo-fi music, Experimental music, Psychedelia, Synth-pop, Folktronica, Industrial dance music, Ambient techno
• Analog Electronics: Vocoder and Novatron
• Vocal filter on all of BMSR backlog
• There music videos contain mention sensitive technology, time lapse photography, live action footage and animation. A lot of their videos are manipulated with the mouse or webcam
• I personally really enjoy listening to their music as well as watching their videos. The whole psychedelic atmosphere makes it so much more exciting to me.

DUBSTEP: 
Excision & Space Laces - Throwin' Elbows

• Jeff Abel, better known by his stage name Excision, is a Canadian music producer, DJ, and perfomer
• He frequently works with fellow Canadian dubstep producers Datsik and Downlink, along with producer Dion Timmer
• His genres of music are Dubstep, drum and bass, drumstep, trap, glitch hop, and hardstyle
• I went to one of his performances once and it was the most insane
• He works with Digital Audio workstation which is an electronic device/ software app used for editing, recording and producing audio files.

TECHNO: 

Nina Kraviz:

• Russian Dj, music producer and singer
• Genres of music consist of Techno, Tech house, Deep house, Minimal music, Electronica, Acid house, Tech trance
• Techno is electronic dance music and consists of repetitive instrumental music with a rhythmic component with a bass drum, quarter note pulses, snares
• The technology of the music production are drum machines, synthesizers, and digital audio workstations as well as retro electronic musical devices to create what they consider to be an authentic techno sound

ELECTRONIC – PRODUCER/DJ CULTURE: 
Ultra Music Festival:

• The Ultra Music Festival is an annual outdoor electronic music festival in Miami, Florida

• Some DJ’s who perform there are Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, Hardwell, Dj Snake, Afrojack
• I chose this music festival because it’s very popular, where thousands of people go, just like Tomorrowland. It’s a rave where teens go, dress up in crazy costumes and go wild in the crowd to the music thats most in right now.
• The type of music played at this festival is a huge variety, which consists of Progressive house, Trap music, Moombahton,  Electronic dance music, Pop music, Electropop, Big room house, Electro house, Hardstyle, Future bass, Tech house and more

ELECTRO – CLASH:
Unitra - Cosmic Trip

• 70s, 80s, & early 90s inspired music created by cyberpunk and popculture 
• Covers multiple subgenres (pop, romance, high school coming of age, old school video games, highway chase, outrun, summer crush, sci-fi soundtrack, etc) in the nostalgia infused Retro Synth community.
• Their genre of music is Dance/electronic
• I thought Unitra carried a different yet aesthetic vibe, since it has a combination of music produced back then. 
• One of the song, Cosmic Trip carried a Synthwave / 80s Retro Electro / Spacesynth atmosphere
